Mission
Founded in 2017 by Fable McDaniel, Rhetorical Answers works through music, narrative, and art to illustrate and communicate real themes, like social and human problems, in comprehensively honest ways. We immerse people in others’ worlds and lives.

Chief Executive Officer
Fable McDaniel
Fable McDaniel (ze/zir, they/them) is a writer, artist, and musician from Evansville, Indiana and the driving creative force behind Rhetorical Answers. They earned their BA in English from the University of Southern Indiana, where they also served as President of the Student Writers Union and Asst. Editor of the university’s student publication, FishHook.
Fable is known for their music as Rhetorical Answers, creating Stories for Monsters, directing Anachronistic, as well as for co-creating the TTRPG FableDoom.

Lauren McDaniel
Lauren McDaniel (she/her) is a published writer, fan of TTRPGs, and certified "Friend of the Nerds." She earned her MA in English from the University of Southern Indiana, where she was the Editor-in-Chief of its student publication, FishHook.
At Rhetorical Answers, Lauren makes sure the team keeps working steadily on our most important projects, manages the official socials, and moderates the streams on Twitch.
(TL;DR: Lauren keeps the lights on and Fable sane!)

Dariane Davis
Dariane “Doomsday” Davis (she/her) is a goblin who does not wish to be known or perceived, but due to peer pressure is being forced to take credit for the hard work she has put into co-developing FableDoom and the amazing art she has either contributed to or provided.
She is a long-time fan of TTRPGs and has been running games, telling stories, and making cool art with Fable and Lauren since before Rhetorical Answers was even conceived.
